I have an HP dv9500t-new
My web cam worked the first day, but later when I open hp webcam, an error
eventually occurs. "MS visual C++ runtime library runtime error
program C\program files\hp\quickplay\QP.exe
this application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
please contact the application's support team for more information"

and then it locks up...any ideas any one/

I have an HP Pavillion dv6500 - 3 months old and have the same problem, my webcam worked for the first 2 weeks then nothing since.
Is your problem now fixed, if so how did you do it?
Would be grateful to know
