| | KB940199 - Hotfix is Available MS KB940199 says a hotfix is now available to solve the infamous "Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device. Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it...". My only problem is that I requested the hotfix from MS and Support said it was not available. Does anyone have a workaround other than deleting the INFCACHE.1, because that doesn't fix all my problems with devices (some but not the most important ones). Jeff |
