Unable to read burned DVDs with Vista

I currently have a lite-on brand dvd burner LH-20A1L. I can burn disks fine
and read plain dvds and cds fine but when I try to read a burned dvd, it will
ot allow me to open the contents of the disk. When I click on open, the next
window that appears is "Prepare blank disk." I have taken the same disks and
they read fine on other computers. All windows updates and drivers are
current, any suggestions as to how I can fix this problem?

Re: Unable to read burned DVDs with Vista

Has the disk been "closed" or "finalized" (consult Window's Help and Support) on
the computer that created the disk?
