I just got a brand new BlueParrott B200 headset and B200 USB cord
    (bluetooth to USB adapter).

XP recognizes the headset with no problem but I can't get Vista to
recognize it (when I plug the adapter into a USB port I get the
standard USB recognition sound but the device doesn't show up in
Device Manager's USB device list or in available audio devices in any
applications). I normally work in Vista. I thought the USB protocols
were standards across operating systems. BlueParrott is being less
    than helpful.

    Any suggestions???

    Re: Blueparrott

    Greetings no_spam_paquette,

The issue you are having with your VXI USB audio device is more likely caused by a firmware version conflict between the USB device and Vista. The latest version of the VXI USB audio device firmware is 7.02, and since you are seeing the label VXI TalkPro USB in the Vista device manager, you are using an older version of firmware.

To correct this, the firmware in the USB audio device will need to be upgraded. As of this writing, the upgrade must be performed using an XP machine with a connection to the internet.

Please follow this link to the VXI web site for upgrade instructions. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact the VXI customer service department using the contact methods available on the web site.
