My Mobile Device gets "USB device not recognized" under Vista x64

I connect my Windows Mobile through the USB cable. I had no problems under
Vista x86. But since I moved to x64 my mobile device (Orange SPV3100 Windows
Mobile 5) can not connect and is not recognized. I have tried already
everything. I removed and re-installed WMDC 6.1 several times with my mobile
connected and disconnect before and/or after reboot. Tried "changed devices"
in device manager. Installed the Windows Mobile based device manually in
device manager.
Nothing works. WMDC and Vista x64 do not recognize my Windows Mobile Device.

What else can I do? I need to sync my calendars and contacts.

Re: My Mobile Device gets "USB device not recognized" under Vista x64

Im using the latest drivers from nvidia nforce for my mainboard, windows
mobile 6 on my htc tytn and i get the same error as this threads
creator, but it is not limited to my wm6 device but also usb memory
stick, usb memory card reader and webcam.

I have all windows updates installed too.

Anyone got any ideas?

You may want to try installing WinXP x64 drivers. I found that if there
are no Vista x64 drivers the WinXP x64 have decent chance of working.
