| | Can't use Intel PC Camera CS331 I have an Intel CS331 webcam and while the drivers install (Vista goes online and installs them), and the device is listed as working, it DOES NOT WORK at all. Using Skype to test the web cam, nothing comes up in the video window and I am not able to access the properties when I click the button. THe device is listed in the device manager but does not appear under scanners and cameras where it appears in WinXP. Does anyone have a solution. I'd use the camera to talk to my granddaughters and without the camera, I'd never upgrade to Vista on a permanent basis. (I've made a bug report.) |

Vista loads the driver lists it in the device manager but does not recognize it as a camera or scanner. | | RE: Can't use Intel PC Camera CS331 I think MS has a long way to go before they can release Vista. They'll have a lot of angry customers if everyone has to upgrade ALL their devices like scanners, cameras, etc. I'm just surprised Vista loads such as old driver, when for other older devices they just say no driver exists.
