| | Re: will two tv tuner cards normally crash? I have seen no reports of tuner cards from different vendors clashing. and I have seen many reports of users using pairs of analog tuner and pairs of digital tuner cards from different vendors. Even if it did cause a problem you might be able to change such things as IRQ etc in the BIOS but if we're talking Vista there would probably not be any drivers for a card that age anyway. I'd suggest you use something like Acronis True Image and make a "Full" backup when trying anything like this just to be sure you can recover. |

| | Re: will two tv tuner cards normally crash? In theory it should work. But you'd be better off using two of the same. If one has Hardware decoding and the other uses Software it may cause a problem. I use 2 ATI 550's with no problems in BeyondTV. Don't try Media Center. It's well worth the money for BTV I can stream 2 channels at a time over my network. Or watch the recorded stuff on any pc on the network.
