clevertouch (early version)

any one else out there stuck with a clevertouch (early version) and being
told that the boards will not work with vista cause the hardware in the board
is not compatible??

runs fine under window xp, but they are saying the hardware is not ok with
vista, but works with windows xp64, is vista that different that the
clevetouch board will not work right or is it just the fact they are lazy and
dont see any money in making a driver to work.

i am being given the run about by saharaplc or is everyone else in the same
boat?

( and being a techy i know i could run VM ware version of windows xp but the
teachers and TA's bless them dont understand about running xp in a VM ware
window on a vista machine)

sad thing is, now you cant buy any thing but vista, most of the schools in
my area have at least one of these boards with some schools having 1 in every
classroom, and its proving to be a pain and effecting teaching and learning.

any info would be great, given microsoft is pushing in the education market
at present and a fix from you fokes would work wounders. andy
