How do I create a boot CD in Vista?

How to I create a boot CD or startup disk in Windows Vista? I can't seem to
find a utility that is vista compatible and it looks like they removed the
option from the control panel.

What is your end goal with this boot CD? The Vista DVD is bootable, just
like the XP install CD.

Re: How do I create a boot CD in Vista?

Vista came pre-installed on my laptop and I didn't recieve a Vista DVD. I
want to have a boot CD incase something goes wrong. At this point it is only
a precaution.

Very wise. Most laptops that come with a restore program on part of the
hard drive (may be in a hidden partition) have a utility that allows you
to create restore disks. Read the manual that came with your laptop or
look for the OEM (HP, Dell, etc.) help files to see how to create those
restore disks. If there is no way to create physical restore disks,
order them from the laptop mftr. This is usually very inexpensive. For
ex., HP charges under $25 USD to do this.
