Vista - DVD burner not recognised in Media Player

DVD burner not recognised in Media Player

I'm running Vista 64 and although my LiteOn Blue Ray DVD works in my Pinnacle
video editing program, when I try to use it in Media Player it plays OK but
when I want to burn I am told to connect a burner!!
