Re: my wiondows vista is failing

this is a very strange problem but if i had to guess i would say system memory(RAM) is a possible cause.

can you run the BIOS (press DEL after startup before windows loads) and check temperatures under PC health?

because the problem only happens after 7 hours the system builder would not have noticed it.

good luck

RE: my wiondows vista is failing

DEL is abbreviation for the DELETE key on the keyboard.
Geezer is giving you advice on how to get into Bios.

Re: my wiondows vista is failing

I have been thinking some more about this problem and now I think you may have a memory leak.

A poorly written application or driver is not releasing the memory it has requested and slowly eats up your available RAM until you run out and then you have to reboot to get it back.

Do you ever get a message that says something like: "System is Low on Memory" ?
