I have continually tried to install a defrag program I purchased from O&O
software to no avail. I have worked with the O&O people but they have given
up. Anyway I keep getting this error message about half way through the
installation process. "the configuration data for this program is corrupt.
contact your support personnel." It must be a vista problem since I
successfully installed the program on my laptop

vista already includes a splendid defrag program. simply enter 'defrag' in the 'start search' box.

In fact this program is probably already scheduled to run on your system - so no need to do anything.
