Activating

My HD recently crashed and as a result I had to buy a new Hard drive and i
had to reinstall Windows Vista. ANd even then I had to buy a full version of
Vista, and reupgraded that using my Ultimate disk. But now the OS won't let
me activate my Vista is there any way to fix this without putting down
another 200 on a upgrade.

Re: Activating

Did you already have Windows Vista before this started?
If so, why did you purchase Windows Vista again?

As for activation, choose the option to activate by phone.
Call the displayed number for your region, normally done in less than
10 minutes.

Microsoft even confirmed that the workaround was possible but warned that
they would be violating the terms of use agreed to when they purchased
Vista.
So it's up to you if you choose this route.

All the best,
George
