I know you can drag your gadgets onto the desktop, but I'm not sure if
they'll stay there once you dispose of the sidebar. Suck it and see!

Right click on clock. Detach from toolbar. Close sidebar.

Tom,

On my Vista Home Premium drag the clock gadget onto the desktop, then close
the sidebar.

I found out that when you run Clock on the desktop it prevents the
system from going into sleep mode.

There any way to make the Sidebar bigger?
