    Installing Windows Live Messenger

I'm tying to install WLM on a laptop using Vista Basic and the installation
wont proceed. I searched the net for information, found something related to
this, on having proper (admin) rights, but didn't help.

Can someone suggest something here? Thanks.

You don't say what is actually happenning when you try to install WLM. If the
setup is simply not working properly it probably is due to administartive
rights. Locate the setup.exe file for WLM, right click on it and, from the
drop down menu, click on the 'run as administrator' option. WLM should then
install. I've never had any problems installing WLM
