| | Installing Vista Premium Media Center When I initially upgraded XP to Vista Premium I did not install the Media Center. My Vista software is OEM so I don't have a Vista disk. I only have a 3 disk OEM backup. Does anyone know how to reinstall or turn on the Media center. I can't find any reference anywhere. |

| | Re: Installing Vista Premium Media Center Go to Start/Run and enter gpedit.msc hit Enter - then have a look at the left pane, got to "Computer Configuration" -> "administrative templates" -> look for "WindowsComponents" ( still left pane ) - and click that. Now on the right look for a folder "windows media center" and doubleclick it - there you find the policy to en- or disable it. -- Peter Toronto, Canada "Ozzie Matics" <omatics@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:u6SUjQXKIHA.3672@xxxxxx Quote: > When I initially upgraded XP to Vista Premium I did not install the Media > Center.
