Re: anti virus

CA has a freebie beta of theirs at
http://www.my-etrust.com/Microsoft/vista/default.aspx

I think McAfee has a beta too. I'm sure other folks will tell you about
others.

RE: anti virus

Avast! works with Vista (the only bit which doesn't work is the report in
Security center but just say monitor my own) I have had no problems with
updating and using with Outlook.

The last patch from WU was meant to have resolved the AVG issue although I
have the Pro version of this I chose to install a specific Vista one as AVG
would not provide support.

EZTrust is also free for 1yr although I read about too many problems which
is why I went with Avast. HTH

RE: anti virus

I am running free AVG and it appears to be working for me. What errors are
you receiving?

Re: anti virus

The latest update from Windows Update is supposed to have fixed that. Try
again.

RE: anti virus

Click on Windows Security Center, Click on the down arrows for Malware. I
clicked the Partners link under anti-virus and found Trend Micro PC-cillin
Internet Security 14 (PCC14.55EN_VistaBeta2_02). It's been working and
updatable.

Follow the Partners link for anti-virus under the Malware section of Windows
Security Center.
