| Vista Home Basic 32bit | Can I install a Vista x64 beside my x86? Hi all. My notebook is a x64 one, but comes with OEM x86 Vista Home Basic. Today I found that there are quite many x64 drivers published and I want to have a trial on the Vista x64. Is it possible for me to install a x64 without removing my x86, and dual-booting both of them? Thanks! |

| | Re: Can I install a Vista x64 beside my x86? You can make a second partition (resize main partition and add a second one) and install it there. You don't need to put in a code or activate right away. That way you can make sure you have all the drivers and all your programs are compatible before making the switch completely.
