Is there a way to divine my product key from my system? I must have lost the
e-mail with the key in it and I am thinking of running Vista on a new PC. I
thought they allowed 10 (?) activations from one key?
Thanks

Open your browser, type in 'google' in the
address bar. After the Google page opens, type
in 'key finder' in the search field and then
either press the <Enter> key or left click on
the "Google Search" button.

I like rockxp.exe. Don't know if it works in Vista.

Key Finder is not compatible with Vista. I tried it. I also tried beta 3.

Doesn't work on Vista. Runs, but doesn't retrieve the product key. Other
tabs cause a hang.

System Information for Windows does run fine on on my Vista x64 box, except
for the one function that gives the Product Keys: "Secrets." That turns up
a blank report screen. Everything else works fine. Go figure.

I just booted up x86 and tried SIW on it and it does retrieve the PK. Funny
that it works on x86 but doesn't retrieve the x64 key. Hopefully the OP is
using x86.

As a matter of fact, it doesn't matter. The PK is the same for both.

ProduKey is a small utility that displays the ProductID and the CD-Key of
MS-Office, Windows, Exchange Server, and SQL Server installed on your
computer. You can view this information for your current running
