| | transferring from xp pc to new pc with vista Hi -- can I transfer, using the Easy Transfer software, w/o a 2nd monitor? We only bought the cpu, and planned to use our existing monitor. Thanks -- rlh-a rather unsophisticated user  |

| | Re: transferring from xp pc to new pc with vista You will need a monitor connected to both PCs if you intend to do a transfer via cable (network or USB). If you're gathering files from the old PC and moving them to the new one via USB drive, CD/DVD, etc you will need it connected to each PC in order so you can read and follow the prompts during the EasyTransfer process. -- Richard G.
