Hi



I'm trying to install japanese input and text reading for Vista Home
Premium. I can select Japanese as the input keyboard via Control Panel,
Change Keyboards, etc... but the IME does not show up. What can I do to get
this? I also cannot see japanese characters in my browser.

Hi,

I'm also trying to install Japanese input and text reading for Vista but I
can't even select Japanese as the input on control panel. Did you download it
on here or was it already installed?

If you can't read Japanese, have you tried changing the encoding on the page?

I can select the Japanese "keyboard" in the languages, but not the IME. I
didn't download anything. I found a link to japanese MUI but this is not what
I need as I'm not interested in changing the locale for windows, just being
able to read / write japanese.

No I haven't tried changing the encoding... I can do that when I get home,
but somehow I doubt that will work.

Perhaps the Vista install I used was incomplete? I downloaded it off the web
because my computer is an HP laptop and the vista preloaded was all screwed
up. (I have a genuine key, just HP refuses to give me a clean vista cd).
