unauthorized modification

Hello,

I apologize for my English in advance. After being away for the holidays,
Vista told me there was 7 new updates. I downloaded and installed them. Then
of course the system put a message that I needed to reboot the computer.

Vista finished the installations. However I was no more able to log on my
session. I receive this message all the time:
"unauthorized modification to Windows". My only option is then to shut down
the computer.

Could someone tell me what to do? Restore? But then I'll still have the
updates to install...

Thank you

Re: unauthorized modification

You can select to install one update at a time until you find out which one
is the problem. See this thread for more info about this message:

Re: unauthorized modification

If you do not have a legally license copy of Vista this message may be
caused by Windows Genuine Advantage
