| | disabling anti virus I am trying to install logitech quick cam and am advised to disable anti virus or spyware prior to proceeding with installation. I have NOD 32 antivirus system installed. Where, how do I disable it ??? And once I learn that do I go back after installation of the quick cam and enable the NOD 32 ....or will there be a conflict ? Probably a pretty simple question for many ... not for me ! Help appreciated. -- glenn b |

| | RE: disabling anti virus Normally with any anti-virus, you right-click on the taskbar icon near the clock, and there will be an option to disable it. Your antivirus should re-enable itself upon rebooting. And NO; there won't be a conflict between the 2. It is purely for installation reasons; which I hardly ever follow! Help appreciated. startup. Then you reboot and install your new gadget (offline, if you feel vulnerable). When it is installed, run Msconfig again and enable NOD 32 in startup. Now start NOD 32 manually or reboot. All this might not be needed. You can try to install the camera while your antivirus is running. Usually that works fine. |
