| | Clean Install of Vista Home Premium I'm having problems with some 3rd party software and have gone as far as reinstalling Vista Home Premium. I did a clean install and have a question: Does a clean install completely replace the registry? If so does anything linger from the old registry lingers into the new one? Thanks much, James |

| | Re: Clean Install of Vista Home Premium If you have formatted the HD and then did a NEW install.......nothing should be left from the old. If you simply installed over the old installation there will be old stuff left in the registry peter -- DISCLAIMER: If you find a posting or message from me offensive, inappropriate, or disruptive, please ignore it.
