Re: no user music files

Hi,

Click start and type "Control Folders" and hit <enter>. On the view tab, set
the options to see hidden and system folders. Now open Windows Explorer and
look for a windows.old folder on the root of the drive. This will contain
the remnants of your XP installation including your old user files. You can
retrieve your data from here.

Re: no user music files

hi,when you say the root do you mean the c:/ drive as there is no windows.old
folder to be found.

Hi,

Did you upgrade or clean install? At any point did you format the drive?
