| | Re: no user music files Hi, Click start and type "Control Folders" and hit <enter>. On the view tab, set the options to see hidden and system folders. Now open Windows Explorer and look for a windows.old folder on the root of the drive. This will contain the remnants of your XP installation including your old user files. You can retrieve your data from here. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "stefan" <stefan@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:FFB686CB-94B7-4946-9988-9EFA7F04B39A@xxxxxx Quote: > have just upgraded to vista home premium from xp.found my music files but > can > not find any other user music files, has update deleted or have they been > moved |
