| | Re: windows vista home basic cd to install drivers for printer you can go to the Lexmark site and download drivers for the printer, if there are no drivers then Lexmark has chosen not to support your printer. They did this in my case and I went out and purchased a new Canon printer a MP470 which works fine with Vista and XP. Be sure to install in XP Compatible mode.
