Does anyone know if I could activate beta 2 Vista installation without going
thru Internet, may be using the phone?

Thanks.

Alex--

I seriously doubt if they are using their phone centers to help activate the
Beta, but stranger things have happened. You can call and find out. You can
find appropriate number for your are at the bottom of
http://support.microsoft.com More importantly what's behind you're wanting
to do that and will this help?

Good information to know, but often when that question is asked it's because
they are getting that error, one of whose symptoms is failure to activate.
It's not that uncommon hence the MSKB got generated early on in the Beta.

Re: Could you activate beta 2 Vista installation via phone?

Sorry Chad, I wasn't trying to discount you're answer.

I do agree that it is important to ask why they feel the need to activate by
phone, in the event they are receiving a fixable error.
Alleviate that, and you get rid of the need to go the phone route.
