| | Re: KB936330 vista sp1 Right now I am just trying to determine if Sp1 installed itself Tues. From what I can tell it appears not. I looked at updates installed, and I do not see this listed. Nor Do I see it in the suggested install list. I saw on a MS link to click Start then R-click Computer, and look for an Edition box. I do not see anything like that on my sys. Vista Bus. using Classic settings.. Right now I have no prob. waiting, just want to see if I have it or not. This is a new HP Pc w/Vista preinstalled. (please) everything shut down. no external devices all i get here is a note on the screen saying error did not finish installing sp1 the "up-date" pages shows all up-dates til these three (3) now as completed ok. these three(3) just -"failed"- and the date. would this work from "safe mode"?? thanks for you time woody |
