RAID disk size difference

I recently set up a RAID 10 on my system, using four 500GB HDD's. It went
well, and the system sees it as a single 1TB drive, but windows Vista sees it
as a single 500GB drive. When I go into the device manager and look at the
RAID drive, windows sees it as a 1TB drive. Is there a way to get windows
explorer to see the drive for its true size, 1TB? I am afraid it will not
let me write past the 500GB's it thinks exists.

Re: RAID disk size difference

Were, in windows is it seen as 500gb?
Is this done via an onboard controler or an extension card controller?
& whose controler?
