| | Re: How to edit Dual Boot options to delete bad Vista option You'll need to run "bcdedit" from an adminitrator-level command line. You can run "bcdedit /?" to see all the commands. | | Re: How to edit Dual Boot options to delete bad Vista option VistaBootPro has a nice graphical interface for those, such as myself, not comfortable with command line usage. | | Re: How to edit Dual Boot options to delete bad Vista option I would download VistaBootPro or EasyBCD and use that to edit your file. Much easier. Google Search either to find the download. | | Re: How to edit Dual Boot options to delete bad Vista option You will need to edit the bcedit file (you will need administartive priveldges to do this). Alternatively, and by far the best way would be to download the third party software VistaBootPro (www.vistabootpro.org), install it and then use this to edit the bcedit file. Vistabootpro is far more user friendly than the command line bcedit. -- John Barnett MVP Associate Expert http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org The information in this mail is supplied "as is". | | Re: How to edit Dual Boot options to delete bad Vista option I could not get VistaBootPro to work, even after reinstalling twice - EasyBCD however worked like a charm. Problem solved. Many thanks.
