| | Windows 98se I downloaded info on a disc from my old system windows 98se. When I try to retrieve the info on my new system and computer with Vista it will not open the disc. It treats it as if it were a blank cd. Howdo I resolve this? -- Kermitm130 |

| | Re: Windows 98se As Philo stated in different words, if you dragged and dropped the files onto an icon and they copied to the CD, that same program would be required to be running in Vista to be able to read the disk. To be able to use the CD on any system you need to use a program that creates a standard data disk (Roxio Easy...creator or Nero or one of the free ones) and you need to finalize the disk.
