| | Error booting system from Vista Home Basic 64-bit DVD Hi! I currently have Vista Basic Home 32bit installed on my PC. I have the Vista Home Basic 64bit Full DVD and I would like to upgrade. I know that I would need to do a clean install but I am having trouble booting from the DVD. I have set my BIOS to boot from the DVD but I get the below message when it tries to read the DVD: File: /Boot/BCD Status: 0xc000000e Info: An error occured while attempting to read the boot configuration data. Any ideas on what the problem is? My motherboard and cpu are new and 64bit compatible. Justin |
