    Logitech webcam

Hey, I have bought a Logitech webcam from a relative. there was no cd or
manual with it. I thought by just pluging in the webcam via usb port, it
would work. When i logged onto msn and tried it out, there was nothing going
through although it said it was connected.

The numbers on the tag are
    M/N V-UAL9
    P/N 861154-0000
    S/N LZA34704767

    I have windows Vista with a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+

    any help would be greatful.
    Thanks

You need to find the software that came with that camera. Go to the
logitech site and see if it's there... or Google "v-ual9"

Go to the Logitech website where you should be able to get a manual. If the
webcam is an older model, you may not be able to get Vista 64bit drivers..

If the webcam is over 3 years old Logitech, apparently, will no longer
support it. However, while there may not be a Vista driver available, in
some cases, an XP driver will do the trick. 64 bit drivers, however, are
    somewhat thin on the ground.
