Booting From DVD

I have an AMD 64 32200+ , Geforce fx5200 video, and 1 gig ram. I have
installed Vista successfully from Windows XP. Now I am curious on the
repartitioning from booting from the DVD. However, when I attempt to boot
off the DVD the setup appears to start but then it goes to a black screen
with this little floating box that says Video Mode not supported. Just
wondering if anyone seen this and what they did to fix it??
