Vista - HOW to Stop STartup Programs that do not show in the "startup" folder or have options in the programs to not start at windows startup

Hi,

I have programs that i installed that do not have options in the program
inself to stop it starting when windows starts,and do not appear in
start/all programs/startup.

Is there an equivalent to tweak XP that works without problems that anyone
can recommend?

Or what other way is there to stop these programs starting at startup ??

Start / Run / Msconfig and see if the apps are listed under the Startup
tab. If they are uncheck them.

In addition to "msconfig" Vista includes Windows Defender which includes
"Software Explorer" , it provides better identification of programs and
options.
