| | TechNet Hi I downloaded my Ultimate Vista 64 installed and the browser keeps quiting. To test the hardware I installed a 32 bit version I received from a seminar and it works perfectly. So I downloaded again to another computer and created a DVD, installed again and again the browser keeps quiting. Help! |

If the software is from a TechNet subscription why aren't you using the TechNet forums? |

| | Re: TechNet It sounds like more of an issue with individual software or drivers. The install probably went fine. Make sure you download the most current drivers for your motherboard and other hardware. And do all the Windows Updates. -- Dustin Harper dharper@xxxxxx http://www.vistarip.com | Vista Resource & Information Page "bhz" <brent@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:ulPSUo%233IHA.4448@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi I downloaded my Ultimate Vista 64 installed and the browser keeps > quiting. | | Re: TechNet If this is from a technet subscription, post your hardware configuration and specifics about what you mean by "the browser keeps quitting" to: microsoft.public.technet By specifics, I mean things like: Is the OS itself loading? Will the browser load but not connect to the internet? Does the browser give any error? Does the browser auto-close itself? Have you confirmed that your NIC card is supported by Vista, and have you installed the proper drivers? Have you confirmed that your NIC is actually getting a connection to your router? Is your NIC hardline or wireless? I gave up on Vista64 because I couldn't get drivers to support any of my several wireless NICs (and I can't run a hardline to my DSL modem), so I went back to Vista32. Good luck, Keith "bhz" <brent@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:ulPSUo%233IHA.4448@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi I downloaded my Ultimate Vista 64 installed and the browser keeps > quiting.
