New build will have to wait....

Tried to install the latest 64bit Vista and encountered problems, it
installs but when I boot into it, it locks up constantly while trying to got
through the intiial setup so.... it's gone, I've no time to mess with it!
I really have only one question and that it one of timing. Why NOW for a
new release? Doesn't Microsoft realize that RIGHT NOW many of us only have
time for Intuit or H & R Block or other tax software?

I'll discuss this after April 15th, assuming I don't have to sell my
computer to pay Uncle Sam.... <sigh>

Thanks for letting me vent!

Don't know what you are talking about. I finished with my tax software back
in the first of February and am enjoying working with the latest build. I
don't have x64 hardware so don't feel your pain there.

Nothing says you need to install each and every build. Keep up and
participate as your time allows, and most importantly HAVE FUN.

So you can convince the general run of low life scum to send you K1 forms
before April 15th? How do you do that? I used to have to file extensions
every year and wait until May or June to get the info needed, after legal
action I'm able to get my K1s by March 25-April 12 but no sooner...

How else will I find one that will work?

The only calculation I need to remember is this...

Maybe Microsoft realise that the world is actually a large place that
doesn't consist entirely of America?

Re: New build will have to wait....

Oh they do ) Remember, within the entire organisation, there kinda split
between Microsoft (hardware, operating systems, server systems) and
MSN/Windows Live (web services, "make life easier" tools) - this is
especially like this in the UK.
