Remove short cut to selected programs on start up

When the computer starts up certain programs spring into life that I don't
want e.g., narrator. How do you view the setup of such programs in Vista
windows to prevent them doing this?

Go into control Panel> Ease of Access> turn it off from starting at Startup
Also, Start>Programs>Accessories>Run> msconfig > OK> see what you have
    starting at startup

    Hi Pete,

Option Two in this tutorial will show you a few methods that you can use to disable or remove programs from the startup program list.

Startup Programs - Enable or Disable

    Hope this helps,
