Repost Dual Boot Question

It's entirely possible that my previous post on this situation was not
answered because there is no solution, but as I'm ever the optimist, I'll
restate:

I started with a dual boot PC, Windows 2000 on C: and Windows XP Pro on D:.

I installed Vista RC1 over Windows 2000 on C:

Vista works fine, but the Vista boot manager has no knowledge of the XP
installation on D:.

Is there any way to make the Vista boot manager "see" XP on D: and create a
dual boot option?

See http://www.vistabootpro.org/intro.php which is an easy way to edit the
Vista boot manager to boot to other operating systems. You'll need to
ensure the boot.ini, ntdetect.com and ntldr system files are on the root
directory of the drive you want to boot into the existing XP system.
