WET activation on new Vista Laptop

I am using a Belkin WETC to transfer data, settings, user account, favorites,
Outlook email folders, messages and contacts, etc. from an XP Home Edition
SP3 Desktop to a Vista Home Premium SP1 Laptop. I have newly installed all
the necessary programs on the Vista PC. After an initial aborted attempt, the
program eventually ran to completion on both PC's. However, it seems only to
have 'transferred' what looks like a folder (the title being my user account,
which is the same on both PC's) onto my Vista Desktop. I guess I am very
niave, but after restarting I expected my Vista PC to automatically take on
the characteristics of my XP PC (in certain aspects). Could someone please
advise how I can 'activate' the transfer ? It is dawning on me, that I may
not have the expertise to take this to a satisfactory conclusion !! Thanks in
advance.
