| | Problem installing Vista RC1... Here are my computer specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ ASUS A8N-SLI Premium 3072 MBytes pf DDR RAM WindowsXP SP2 The problem I am having is that I am trying to install it to my secondary drive, which is 20gigs, It copies the files, decompresses them, then it restarts and says "Installing Windows" and just sits there, I let it sit for over an hour and nothing happened. So when I restart, the boot menu gives me 2 otpions, 1) Earlier version of Windows and 2) Windows Setup Rollback. I want to get rid of the #2 option so I checked my boot.ini and don't see it in there. So I wanted to know two things, A) why won't Vista RC1 install and B) if I can't install it, how do I get rid of the second boot option? TIA!!!!!! |
