required actions before installing

I have a Toshiba Satellite M45-S265 laptop. When I ran the upgrade advisor it
informed me that I had to uninstall Toshiba Tbiosdrv Driver, Sonic DLA, and
DVD-RAM Driver. Can someone tell me if this will affect how my laptop works,
and if it will work after doing so? I split my 100 gig hdd in half so I can
still run XP, and plan to install Vista on new partition. TIA

RE: required actions before installing

If you're installing it on a different partition, don't worry about it until
you see what Vista does for drivers. It will install something and if not,
you will have to look for drivers.
