| | RE: VPN not seeing remote resources I am going to cross post this to Vista Installation and Setup and Vista General. Hopefully someone will have an idea of what to check for. I ran ipconfig /all to see what network configuration was being applied to the VPN connection. The IP is appropriate for the connection, it matches settings for the remote end. What puzzling is the netmask is 255.255.255.255 and the gateway is 0.0.0.0. These settings are dynamically applied from the remote end. If you run route print command, you should see the PPTP connection metric is lower than LAN. However, when I try to RDP using FQDN or IP, I get an error indicating the remote computer can't be found or isn't responding. Bruce "Robert L.
