| | 7950 GX2 possible work around http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=85252 Found this gem while searching for the cure to failed install of vista RC1 x64 and x86 on a brand new rig with a 7950gs2. Both versions gave me the "nvlddmkm.sys" bsod. I tried the work around at the above site and got past that issue, but then got "44caf72" bsod. Can't find anything on that error. My guess is I hosed the security changes that need to be made to the files. With all the 7800 and 7900 cards out there, we will figure this out. The author says he made it work. I will try again. Its well woth it. I had RC1 running on a back up rig and it is FUN. |
