Install seesm to hang??

I have downloaded and burnt the RC1 DVD. When I reboot my machine the Vista
starts installing. I get to the part that asks for the Product Key and click
next and nothing happens - I have left it for about an hour but still
nothing. Any suggestions? (I have tried entering the Product Key that i was
sent and also leaving it blank)

Would the fact that I haven't uninstalled Norton Internet Security 2006 have
anything to do with it?

RE: Install seesm to hang??

Don't know about Norton. When that happened to me, I realized that I wasn't
entering the product key for Vista but instead another key for another MS
program. When I entered the correct key the installer took off without any
delay or very quickly.

RE: Install seesm to hang??

I encountered the same problem, ie. system hangs after entering product key.
I'm using the product key that came with my Beta 2 DVD... I was informed
that this is acceptable.

Re: key

I don't have a Beta2 DVD. What else could be causing this? I assume that by
rebooting the PC and installing from a reboot that it will be a clean
install? Shouldn't it work even without a Product Key? Should I try
dowloading it again?
