| | WinHlp32.exe OK! So I have a NON-MS app that contains a help file. It will not run because MS (in their infinite wisdom) decided to exclude WinHlp32.exe from Vista home premium. But, also, in their infinite compassion, then included a link to Windows Genuine (dis)Advantage. I have downloaded WGA four four four four times! And still I do not get winHlp32.exe. I am humbly asking for any suggestions. I cannot say enough about MicroSoft's wonderful product. Thank you very much, Charles |

| | Re: WinHlp32.exe Rick, I opened the address you gave (below). I chose the x86 option... ...this downloaded Windows6.0-KB917607-x86.msu I double clicked that file It first opens a "Windows Update Standalone Installer" window and and says "searching system" It then says "THIS UPDATE DOES NOT APPLY TO YOUR SYSTEM" Because of other problems, I just finished re-formatting my HD and restoring a fresh copy of Vista Home Premium. You have already been kind just responding to my first request. If you have any further suggestions, they would be appreciated.
