| | Problems upgrading from home premium to ultimate I recently purchased a vista ultimate upgrade and I am trying to install it on my home premium pc. When the installation gets to the point where it asks what type of installation I want, the "Upgrade" option is greyed out. I have installed windows upgrade advisor and it says my computer is ok for ultimate. Both the disk and my computer have SP1 on it. I have Norton 360 on my computer, but microsofts site says that Norton is ok to have while upgrading; at the same time I'm fairly sure that this is why I'm not being allowed to upgrade, but I'm not sure. -- Corporal Clegg |
