    Installing Vista without previous OS?

    Hi and thanks for reading,
I've been using Vista Since Beta 2 and in a week or two, I'll be buying a
new computer from my friend. (Really good one!)
And my question is, is there a way to boot the computer from the DVD (The
HDDs have been formatted) and then install Vista as the sole OS?

You can boot from the CD and install RC1 as the sole OS.
It's what I did. I removed both existing drives and installed a new clean
    one.
