| | BSOD after Update / Disable Driver via Recovery Console I run an update from Windows XP to Windows Vista RC 1 (5600). The Upgrade Advisor told me to uninstall Alcohol120% and some Nero Products - OK I did. After the Update-Process Vista won't boot. The boot-process stopped with the message "Missing or corrupt .. NETFLT.SYS". I identified the File as a Panda-Antivirus-WebProxy Service... The question is: How can I disable the Service? The Vista Startup Repair runs for hours before I abort it (always hanging at "Analyzing Eventlogs") and has no effect. The (XP-Recovery-Console) Commands "DISABLE", "LISTSVC" aren't available anymore to disable the service... Thank you for every help! |

| | RE: BSOD after Update / Disable Driver via Recovery Console I guess you tried going into control panel => administration tools => services then scroll down to the panda web proxy and stopped the service? I got the same problem, I'm just going to try that now. "TobiasF" wrote: > I run an update from Windows XP to Windows Vista RC 1 (5600). | | RE: BSOD after Update / Disable Driver via Recovery Console Right I disabled all the Panda services and the installation still failed at netflt, so I uninstalled Panda antivirus and the installation went passed the error and carried on installing. I now suggest that you email Panda Software to see if they will bring out a software update for Vista. Because I don't think 2007 supports Vista.
