| | 0X0000005C eeeerrrrrrr this makes my head hurt,help. Hi all, I hope someone can help me or point me in the right direction. When i try to install vista from disc i get an (ERROR) the error is STOP 0X0000005C) 0X0000010B 0X00000003 0X00000000 0X00000000this happens when i first put the disc in and loads the first set of files then i get a blue screen with the above. this also happens when i upgrade xp to vista... any ideas....... microsoft windows xp media center edition version 2002 service pack2 hp pavilion intel® pentium® 4cpu 3.00ghz 3.00ghz 1.00gb of ram |

| | Re: 0X0000005C eeeerrrrrrr this makes my head hurt,help. Did you burn the ISO to a DVD, if so try burning it again at a lower burn speed such as 1X. This has been an issue for some throughout the beta and MS has suggested burning at lower speeds and it has helped some folks. | Vista Ultimate w/SP1 (32-bit) and Windows 7 Build 7000 (64-bit) | I had the same problem on my HP Pavilion a1320n PC, all I did was update the BIOS and it worked, go here: http://www.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html?cc=ca and fill in your PC type (Example, Pavilion a1320n) and then download the latest BIOS update. |
